Another piece of communication directed at a narrow audience is the annual report, which details a corporation’s activities over the prior fiscal year.
Annual reports include balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, cash-flow charts, etc. The CEO usually includes a page updating the public on what’s new at the company, and how the upcoming year may appear.
At a glance, the design of annual reports may seem straight-forward. But there is a great need for interesting design in organizing statistical information and charts into an easy-to-understand format.
We suggest that more narrative be included in annual reports to give a broad perspective at the exciting and cutting-edge initiatives happening at the company.
